We want to be innovative in the development of our product content, in our formats of delivery; and in our pricing models to ensure we keep our offering fresh and relevant to our customers. Non-bureaucratic- We have to have proper controls in place in a business like this but we do not want that requirement to encourage a form-filling bureaucracy to flourish. We want to be the fast moving, decisive, able to act quickly when opportunity presents and nimble enough to be revered force in the market.

For profit- Unapologetically we are here to make money, but sustainably. We are here for a long time.

We want to be open in our communication. I can think of no questions about the business we should not be prepared to answer (other than exceptionally if answering is bought to us into breach of market sensitivity rules)

We want the company to be a rewarding one to work for, yes financially, but in terms of personal and career developments too. We also want the business to be fun place to work. Not just because we are nice but because we think it is enjoyable place to work, we keep better people and do better.

We have got to be very market focused, if we are not, we will soon fall behind. The world is changing fast and old mentality of just produce and sell is no longer enough. We have to think more, ask more anticipate more and do more to meet our customers’ needs than as the case even three years ago.
